I have been talking with some friends lately about having a yard sale. I don't actually have a yard, so will rely on the kindness of friends to host this event. At any rate, it gave me the perfect inspiration or push to clean out my closet. I spent many hours on Saturday and Sunday cleaning, editing and organizing my closet.
Of course, it got worse before it got better. Much worse actually. It looked like my closet exploded in my bedroom. So, I then moved items into the living room for organization. I put the clothes and shoes not going back into my closet into two piles. The first of which I am going to take to Fringe, a local consignment shop, and try to sell them there. The second of which is going straight to the yard sale. The clothing and shoes not bought by Fringe will go to the yard sale. Anything not sold at the yard sale will go to Goodwill, because it certainly doesn't need to come back into my apartment.
I believe the yard sale is going to be on August 29. If you are in the Auburn area, you should come by and shop or just visit.
